On his YouTube account Chance Miller, the user posted footage of the broken Apple Watch as well as photographs of the blown-up wristwatch. According to 9to5Mac, Apple attempted to conceal the occurrence by requesting the user to be silent about it.
The Apple Watch user claims that he was wearing the device when he noticed that it was significantly hotter than usual. Following that, he observed cracks on the rear of this Apple Watch and received a watchOS alert requesting that he turn off the device due to an increase in temperature. The customer stated that he was wearing the wristwatch inside his residence, which had a temperature of more over 70 degrees Fahrenheit (which is nearly 21 degrees Celsius).
Apple’s Reaction on the Incident
The next day, the user discovered that the device’s heat had broken its display. When he attempted to photograph the broken Apple Watch, it began producing “crackling sounds” and “exploded just as he was throwing it out the window.” The user alleges that the explosion left burn scars on his couch and that he had to hurry to the hospital due to fears about lead poisoning.
Apple was alerted of the problem, and the firm told the user that his matter would be given “high attention” and that he would be updated in the following days. The Cupertino-based tech behemoth has finally arranged for a delivery pickup and has stated that the Apple Watch will be evaluated further at the company’s lab.
