Safe harvest’s Ruby Red Rajma is procured from small landholder farmers in Kumaon (Uttrakhand). This is a special variety of Rajma which is grown at an altitude of 5000 feet. Our other Varieties – Rajma Chitra and Kashmiri are procured from farmers’ collectives in Arakku Valley, Seemandra. It has been carefully grown to ensure that you get safe food without synthetic pesticides and without using genetically modified seeds.Â
All products of Safe harvest are tested in FSSAI accredited laboratories for the presence of 149 pesticide residues and a Minimum Residual Level report is obtained. Rajma is a rich source of resistant starch which plays an important role in weight management. It is also rich in fibre and proteins. Recommended for making – Rajma Masala, Sweet potato burritos.
