The Moto E6s is a budget-friendly smartphone that doesn’t skimp on excellent features. It boasts a high-quality camera setup, a large amount of storage, and a gorgeous HD+ screen. The device’s strong processor setup and better speed make it function well. Battery life is poor, yet acceptable for light to average users.
Motorola has released a new low-cost smartphone, the Moto E6s, to take on the likes of the Redmi 7 and the Realme 3i. It has a plastic construction, a detachable rear cover, and a swappable battery. There are two colour options for the phone, but unfortunately, they both show fingerprints like crazy.
It comes with a 13-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth shooter. The image quality is adequate throughout the day but suffers when lighting conditions are dim. The quality of videos shot with E6s is mediocre at best, and the cameras lack stabilisation features. With its 3000mAh battery, the phone should carry you through the day, but you shouldn’t count on it. Furthermore, the charging process is very sluggish.
The HD+ 6.1-inch screen has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The lighting is fine, and the colours are very accurate, but we were hoping for a little more vibrancy. The screen is surrounded by substantial bezels and features a waterdrop notch at the very top. With its MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage space, it’s a powerful device. This processor performs well for everyday work but is somewhat weak for a device of this budget. The back becomes very heated while playing demanding games, and the speaker doesn’t get very loud. Moto E6s operates on stock Android 9 Pie.
