Users looking for a powerful smartphone might consider purchasing the entry-level model of the Edge 20 series. Motorola has included many impressive internal components, such as a powerful RAM and processor, high-quality cameras, a built-in loudspeaker, and a large battery. It also ensures compatibility with the Android V11 operating system and the availability of a 5G network.
The Motorola Edge 20 is a slim smartphone, yet the rear camera bulge is somewhat prominent. Motorola’s design attention has resulted in a sling that’s only 163 grammes in weight. There’s a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen here, and it can refresh at 144 frames per second (Hz). Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects the screen and back, while an aluminium frame holds it all together. It has a water and dust resistance rating of IP52.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G system-on-chip drives it. matched storage capacity of 128GB with 8GB of RAM. A 30W charger is included along with the 4,000mAh battery. Motorola’s MyUX skin for Android 12 is minimal compared to Google’s own skin, therefore the company ships a nearly vanilla version of the OS. The phone’s solid performance and sleek design will win over fans of both categories. It has a little battery, thus its runtime isn’t great.
The Edge 20 packs a 108-megapixel main shooter, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a third, standard camera. A 3x optical zoom camera with 8 megapixels. Taken during the day, the Edge 20’s photographs were quite good; those taken up close were even more impressive. The camera’s low-light performance fell short of expectations.
