The second-generation Motorola Moto X is bigger and bolder than the original, and also costs significantly more. It inherits most of the features that made its predecessor a worldwide success, including the optional wood-finished rear panel, voice commands and gesture detection. The metal body and slick construction make the Moto X (Gen 2) feel like a premium device, although the front face isn’t the most attractive we’ve seen. Storage is fixed at 16GB, but the rest of the specs are satisfactory enough – a full-HD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, and 2GB of RAM. Stock Android is always appreciated. Battery life is good, though the camera is just about okay.
