In December of 2014, Vivo released its Y15 smartphone. The display is a 4.50-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 480×854 pixels and a pixel density of 218 pixels per inch (ppi). The brains of the Vivo Y15 are the quad-core MediaTek MT6582 at 1.3 GHz.
The Vivo Y15 is an affordable Android phone designed for young people who nevertheless want to look cool while on the go. Considering its competitors’ more robust offerings at the same price point, its features are, at best, mediocre.
The Funtouch OS on which the Vivo Y15 runs is based on Android 4.2.2, and the phone itself has 4GB of storage space that can be increased via a microSD card (up to 128GB). The Vivo Y15 supports two SIM cards (both GSM and GSM). The dimensions of the Vivo Y15 are 130.40mm x 65.85mm x 8.98mm and it has a weight of 130.00 grammes.
It has a 512MB RAM memory capacity. A detachable 1900mAh battery supports Android 4.2.2 on the Vivo Y15. Regarding photography, the Vivo Y15 has a 5-megapixel camera at the back. A 2 megapixel front-facing camera is included for those all-important Instagram shots.
It debuted in classic black and white. The Vivo Y15 has support for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, FM radio, and 3G networks. The phone has a variety of sensors, including an accelerometer, a light detector, and a proximity detector.
