It was launched in Glazed Black, Nebula Blue, and Symphony of Light colours.
Connectivity options on the Vivo Y9s include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, GPS, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The Vivo Y9s supports face unlock.
As of 21st July 2022, Vivo Y9s price in India is expected to start at Rs. 20,400.
